Privacy
Your task is yours.
Tasq has no account and no cloud. The task you write, its time and your recent tasks live in a file on your Mac, and nowhere else.
Anonymous usage counts.
Tasq counts how it's used, for example that a task was started or finished, so I can see what works. This goes through TelemetryDeck, which keeps no personal profile. It never includes your task titles. You can turn it off any time in Settings.
Crashes and updates.
If Tasq crashes, macOS can pass a crash report to me through Apple. When you update, Tasq asks tasq.one whether a newer version exists. Nothing else is sent with that request.
